State Grant / Loan Opportunities
The following
information will always be subject to change as grant programs
are opened and closed daily.
There are numerous departments of the Federal and State governments that
offer various grants and loans. What is offered differs from state to
state.
The Internet is a great tool to research your state for funding
opportunities.
These funding lists change daily and are updated frequently. We suggest
you check these sites often as new opportunities become available.
You may register for email notification at
CCR and/or Grants.gov for
those updates and when particular funding becomes available.
Because of the volume of information released with each opportunity,
we include links and brief descriptions so you can search for
opportunities
specific to your needs.

To
apply for Federal Loan/Grant opportunities, your firm must
first register in the Federal Central Contractor Registration (CCR)
system.
This is an involved process that can take 3 days to 3 weeks including
processing your application. After completing this CCR registration, you
may use those CCR ID numbers and file for access to opportunities at
GRANTS.GOV. Registering with CCR is the first step to view and
apply
for any federal government grant. To begin this process, you will need
the
Dun & Bradstreet number for your firm as well as your Federal ID
number (EIN). The website for more info and to register is:

Federal Grant / Loan
Opportunities
FedConnect: After receiving your firms CCR account, you may search
the site
www.fedconnect.org and find listings of all grants offered through
the federal government. You will need this number to apply for any
government grants so you may want to apply early as it takes weeks to
obtain your number.
